Hi I’m Laura, I love hair!!!

 

I was always a hairdresser from being a toddler, always cutting my fringe off.  I started working at a salon when I was 13- it was my mums idea 'to keep me out of trouble’.

I worked at a fab salon in Matlock where I was the Saturday girl until the age of 16 then went off straight to Buxton College to do an apprenticeship in hairdressing.  I did my level 2 & 3 whilst spending my time out of college at the salon meeting lovely people & gaining experience/confidence.  I worked here for 11 years & loved every minute of it. I met so many amazing people & made lots of friends as well as clients.

I then fancied a change so went to work at another salon, again met fab people but decided I wanted more.  My first boss had always been an inspiration & I felt as though I was ready to open my own salon- my dream!

I opened my Salon in January 2019, it was such a crazy time & a big risk.  My daughter was 4 months old when considering all of this & I was asked several times if I was crazy!  but it has been such an amazing experience!

Nearly 4 years on, through the lockdowns & the salon is one of my favourite places to be along with my daughter’s who is very keen on having a pamper! 

​

The salon is such a lovely place to be, lots of chats & laughs   Definitely a good place to be when needing some 'me time’  We will continue to do all we can to make your service here with us the best experience possible.

Doing hair isn’t just my job, it’s my life. Making people feel good is such a big thing to me & I believe that if you’ve got hair you feel good!
